System Council 16 is one of four railroad system councils of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. We proudly represent over 2200 of the IBEW's finest members working in the rail industry across the U.S. We hope you find this web site useful and informative.

System Council 16 Highlights

Our main goal is to provide representation and service to our membership, and to help any
​unorganized workers become one of our members.

There are 27 Local Union's and over 2000 members in System Council 16.

Our members work for the following railroads​:
